The Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) is a foundational program that equips students with essential knowledge and skills in the field of pharmacy. This profession is integral to healthcare, focusing on the science of preparing, formulating, and dispensing medicines derived from both natural and synthetic sources. The curriculum includes the study of drug identification, selection, pharmacological actions, preservation, combination, analysis, standardization, and safe distribution. The course spans 2 years, followed by a 3-month practical hospital training after the Board Examination.
